Founded in 2014, Caribou quickly established itself as an innovative media, offering the first food magazine without recipes in Quebec. Led by three seasoned journalists/entrepreneurs — Audrey Lavoie, Véronique Leduc, and Geneviève Vézina-Montplaisir —, Caribou is a reflection of Quebec’s culinary, gastronomic and agri-food culture, which is asserting its identity, led by passionate chefs, producers, and artisans.
Bernard Lavallée, Le nutritionniste urbain:Bernard Lavallée is a nutritionist and the author of two best-sellers published by Éditions La Presse: “Sauver la planète une bouchée à la fois” (2015) and “N’avalez pas tout ce qu’on vous dit” (2018). As a popularizer of science, he is featured on the Radio-Canada show “Les Éclaireurs” and in the magazines Ricardo and Caribou. Since 2015, he has given more than 150 conferences throughout the province and abroad, on such subjects as sustainable food, the science of nutrition, and food trends.
